Mar 8 High Point Market Design Bloggers Tour

I’m so thrilled to share that I will be one of ten official bloggers for next month’s High Point Furniture Market!

For those of you who are unfamiliar with High Point Furniture Market, it is pretty much the “fashion week” of interior designers. Designers and buyers fly in from all over the world to take in the latest furniture collections in over 11 million square feet of showrooms.

I have been fortunate enough to attend market countless times because I live only about 2 hours away. But even though I have gone for years, I still don’t feel like I’ve been able to maximize my time during any trip! There is just so much to see and do for designers and not enough hours in the day.

This time, I’ll be joining a group of bloggers hand selected by Esteem Media and the High Point Market Authority to give our readers an inside look at market.

What does this mean for me?

I’ll be getting tours lead directly from brands I love to see their latest collections! For me, this gives me even more knowledge to serve my current and future clients. So much of the value that I bring to clients is my ability to source things that they desire but don’t know how to find. I’m so grateful that I live so close to a world-class resource like High Point Furniture Market, where a lot of furniture manufacturers still have adjacent workrooms.

And I will have the privilege of getting to know other design bloggers from all over the country. One of my design business buddies, Albie, is a part of the tour too and I cannot wait to see her! She’s flying in all the way from Seattle.

What does this mean for you?

You’ll get to see what most don’t get to, as these showrooms are not open to the public! When we are touring in the spring, these showrooms are displaying what will be available for purchase from designers and retailers later this year. Trends will be revealed and the latest innovations will be highlighted. I’ll most certainly be doing a video recap and you’ll see several posts following our trip.
