I'm Niki McNeill Brown, an interior designer living & loving in Raleigh, NC area. I'm passionate about living a well designed life and serving others along the way. Thank you so much for stopping by my site!

I believe every space needs a little bit of vintage + a splash of brass. I'm a southern girl to the core, who loves playing dress up, and that feeling you get in your stomach right as an airplane takes off. 

SingleBubblePop began in the fall of 2007 as a way to catalog my journey from pre-med student to interior design professional. The name SingleBubblePop came from the image that I would meditate on. When meditating, I would attempt to make my mind so quiet that I could hear a single bubble pop. Over the last 10 years, readers have watched me graduate from design school (7 years later!) and work in residential + commercial interior design. I even made my way onto HGTV.

After working as a production assistant for HGTV.com, I learned some of the magic that goes into making interior design content for TV. In 2011, I had the opportunity to put some of that knowledge to use as a featured designer on HGTV's "Design Wars." What an amazing experience! In 2013, I joined to design team for the Emmy winning show "Elbow Room" which aired on HGTV and DIY network.

Working in television production and on large-scale renovation projects was thrilling, and further challenged me to continue my education so that I could serve more aspects of the design industry. 

That led me back to school to complete my interior design degree and enter into the world of architecture! Preparing construction documentation for commercial projects gave me a whole new perspective on the detail that's required to make a space both function and beautiful.

I believe that the spaces we live, work & play in having a great impact on our well-being.  I write about inspirational lifestyle content, style, and of course, interior design!

SingleBubblePop has been recognized by Southern Living, House Beautiful, HGTV.com and more as a blog to follow. I continue to create original content & give behind-the-scenes looks into my design projects. 

Since 2010 I have delivered styling, full-service design, renovations, window treatments and custom furniture solutions to clients in both Georgia and North Carolina.

Today, my company McNeill Brown Interior Design serves homeowners, business owners, and real estate developers. It is my pleasure to create environments that are lively, engaging and memorable. Our signature aesthetic is a colorful mix of old and new!
