Sunday Six

Sunday Six

It is officially the last week of summer and I don't know about you, but I'm super excited about it. I love summer but nothing beats the coziness of fall in North Carolina. Plus, I think we have seen the last of hurricane season! This year' she season was horrendous, to say the least. Here are six fun things I want to share this week:

1. A New (To Me) Tile Resource

Last week I got to visit a tile showroom here in Raleigh that had an amazing collection of decorative tile. They designers on staff were so knowlegeable and fun to work with. How gorgeous is this design I spotted while I was there? I cannot wait to go back and select tile like this for my upcoming projects!

2. This Green Goddess

I can't wait to see how this beauty gets placed in an upcoming Level Five Designs clubhouse remodel! I got a sneak peek this week and fell in love. It's a five foot tall, lush velvet settee that has a twin! Stay tuned...

3. A Perfect "no sew" DIY

Can you believe she DIY'd these curtains? If you love black & white, simplicity, and a good DIY, this project may be for you.

4. The Carter Building Sip & Shop

Katie's suite was speaking my love language!

Katie's suite was speaking my love language!

I had a ball visiting with the vendors at 10 Glenwood Ave on Friday night! They had an open house showcasing the variety of special artisans that call this historic building home. I was already familiar with some of them because my photographer Amber has her studio in this space, but I was so pleased to meet some new faces and connect with old friends too. If you are in the downtown Raleigh area, be sure to stop by!

5. Justina Blakeney for Living Spaces

If you are in the California area, don't miss Justina Blakeney's new collection at Living Spaces! I have been a long time fan of Justina's work and it's awesome to see her signature style be more and more accessible. Living Spaces offers affordable, stylish solutions with many locations in the California area. I wish that they delivered to the east coast!

6. Celebration at NCMA
