Sunday Six
The temperature has finally dropped, college students are back in Raleigh, and I'm still counting down till the official start of fall! Here's what else went down last week.
1. Sunday Funday at Bonefish Grille
Last Sunday, Bonefish Grille hosted myself and some other fabulous Raleigh bloggers for a taste test of their new happy hour menu. It was so delicious and I cannot believe all the dishes are less than $10. They have amazing cocktails too like this watermelon margarita. I think my favorite was the poke´! Stop by your local Bonefish and check it out! If you search the hashtag #bonefishhh you can see more photos from out girl's night. Thank you Leslie for the invite!
2. The Echo Pendant from LightArt
How dope is this pendant? I discovered it last week and I am presenting it to a client to include in an apartment club room space! The existing club room has a high coffered ceiling and I think it will be so cool to see these hanging at varying heights from the grid. The best part about these is that they add acoustical value to the space as well, which is important when you have a busy multi-purpose space. You can find out more about them here.
3. Bonitz NeoCon Wrap Up Party
Every year I miss NeoCon because I don't make plans in time to travel to Chicago, but thankfully Bonitz hosts a party with all the latest flooring products at their showroom here in Raleigh. They never cease to amaze me with how well organized the event is! They had food trucks and some pretty sweet door prizes. I'm excited to get samples of these new products I saw!
4. New Construction Project in Garner!
I am super excited about a proposal we submitted for a new project in Garner! The growth in Garner over the last 10 years has been phenomenal and this new community will cater to the 100s of new residents moving to the Raleigh area every single day. Say a prayer for us that we get this opportunity!
5. Let Go by Pat Flynn
I just purchased this book today and I'm already loving it. If you've never heard of Pat Flynn, he is an expert on launching online businesses that create passive income. In this book he talks about rebounding from moments of failure, and I know we all need help with that! The Kindle version is $2.99 until the end of the month, so definitely go buy a copy here.
6. Revisiting this Model
This week I got to revisit a model that we installed at Level Five Designs last month and it was refreshing to see that everything still looked lovely! This king sized bed has the most dramatic headboard and I absolutely love it. If you're looking for a new bed, I can help you customize the bed of your dreams. Shoot me an email!
Enjoy this last week of August! let's chat this week on instagram. Follow me here!
