Hello 2019
Y’all I cannot believe that 2018 is over! What a rollercoaster of a year it was.
I am so grateful for the growth and trajectory of my blog and business over the last year. Some days it feels like a dream that I am running my own company and get the opportunity to share my journey with you along the way. It’s the first Monday of 2019 and I wanted to take some time to reflect on the past year.
Design Clients
Every time someone allows me to enter their home and entrusts me to make their design dreams happen, it is such an honor. I don’t take it lightly that a homeowner (or renter!) would desire for me to shape the space that they dwell in daily. If you were hoping to work with me in 2018 and didn’t get a chance, I’m accepting new clients now! Schedule a time to chat with me here so we can get started.
Giving Back
There were two really special moments in 2018 where I was able to reach back into the future generation and share about the interior design industry. Speaking at career day at an elementary school in Greensboro was such a joy and the kids were most excited to learn about my laser measure. :) Over the summer, I also was able to speak to a group of high school students at Eatman’s Interiors about the variety of positions within the interior design industry that support what I do. Note that I am closer to the elementary school students in size than the high schoolers. Ha!
Blog Collaborations
One of my favorite blog moments of the year was working with Cameron Village to highlight some of their amazing merchants. You all LOVED the post about Nadeau. Check out the rest of the Cameron Village Partner series here!
VIDEO Series
In 2018, we had a lot of fun creating video content with interior design tips and I plan to do more this year! So many of my readers reach out about the business side of design, so I will be giving insight and tips on that as well. Click on any of the thumbnails below to check out last year’s videos, and subscribe to my YouTube channel so you'll be the first to see what comes in 2019.
I love and appreciate each one of you for reading and your continual support! I have some amazing things coming up in 2019 so stay tuned! Make sure you don’t miss any of it by subscribing to our email list below. And please, let me know what you would like to see more of here on the blog! I love hearing from you.
