Sunday Six
Happy Sunday y'all! I hope you had an amazing week. After Memorial Day, it always feels like we fast forward into summer. My mind is on weekend cookouts and beach getaways but work is keeping me busy!
1 // ELEMENTS BY ABIDEMI
Last week I discovered this amazing rug line that is a collaboration between Kyle Bunting and artist Abidemi Olowonira. The composition and color of these rugs reminds me of stained glass windows in a church! But they have the durability and timelessness that comes with cowhide. I'm in love. See the whole collection here.
2 // BEACH CLUBHOUSE PROGRESS
Earlier this year, I started designing a new construction clubhouse at a apartment community in Wilmington, NC. I haven't actually been able to get down to Wilmington to see the site, so I was super excited to get these progress photos from the general contractor. They may not look like much to you, but it's exciting to see where all my pretty stuff will go! I'm expecting to install this project in July, so stay tuned for the reveal.
3 // TEAL HOUSE COLLECTION
My sister gifted me these cute earrings and cheetah bracelet for my birthday and I have been wearing them almost every day since I got them! I love wearing the cuff with my Apple Watch and the studs are the perfect size. Check out the rest of Teal House Collection to see what other goodies they have! My goal in life is to be dripping in costume jewelry like Iris Apfel, so I'm already scoping out my next purchase.
4 // CB2 OUTDOOR FURNITURE
With summer now in full swing, we're all thinking about our outdoor spaces. I have a patio that I never use because it's in pretty terrible shape, so I am hoping to make some updates this summer! The outdoor collection at CB2 is really catching my eye with the black, white and brass vibes they have going on. See for yourself here.
5 // DESIGN ON A (PHOTOGRAPHER'S) DIME
My photographer friend Amber has challenged me to makeover her bedroom for a tiny budget! We're going to turn it into a little series here on the blog, and I'm so excited to tackle her space. She is such a hardworking, loving mama and deserves a retreat that is a warm refuge. Here is where we are starting from!
6 // FINDS RALEIGH
If you are in the Raleigh area, are a vintage lover, and haven't checked out FINDS, I don't know what you're waiting on! These girls always have an amazing selection of gems + they customize pieces to your liking. They've helped us at Level Five Designs with our booth displays, and also done some re-upholstery work for me too. I popped in last week to drop off some fabric & drooled over a few things in the shop.
That's my Sunday Six for the week! If you all like this series, please leave me a comment & let me know!
