Getting Organized with The Container Store

Getting Organized with The Container Store

This post is sponsored by The Container Store, however, all opinions and photos are my own.

As you all know, I’m a newlywed making my house a home with my husband. When I moved in, he had already done quite a bit of decorating in his fairly new home. I was excited that The Container Store wanted to partner with me to begin getting my things in order after moving in. Surprisingly, my clothes didn’t take up as much space as my shoes! If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I am an avid thrift store shoe shopper and my clothes didn’t take up as much space as my shoes! So, these storage solutions were exactly what I needed to be able to start using our empty guest closet for good. The Container Store has hundreds of closet storage and organization products to help you maximize space to accomplish any closet project.

To start my closet project, I added my sweaters to these awesome drop-front boxes instead of keeping them all stuffed in a drawer.  I used these sweater storage boxes to make my sweater collection visible, free from dust, and easy to access.

TIP: I added a bar of soap to each of the boxes so that the fragrance would keep my sweaters fresh throughout the summer.

Next, I used this over the door shoe organizer to coordinate my lack of colored shoes. I pretty much only wear animal prints, nude and black shoes, but I still need options! This organizer makes it easy to see all my sandals, flats, and wedges all in one place.

I used a Container Store rack that I already had to stack the individual drop-down shoe boxes to tuck my high heel special shoes away. This was also a perfect place for me to display my clutches and special occasion bags. I actually have the larger version of this shelf in my office space too! They are so multi-functional. And believe it or not, I don’t own any large handbags so I used this handbag holder to store these random extra pillows for now! Hopefully, I’ll be able to replace them with the Kate Spade bag I’ve been dreaming of soon! ;)

I can’t wait to keep moving in and utilizing The Container Store to make storage work for us beautifully. Stay tuned for more projects with The Container Store! All of the items I used are linked below.
